Dr. Aila Tasse was born and raised in Marsabit County in a  Moslem Family in Northern part of Kenya.  He accepted Jesus as his personal savior in 1985.

At age 24, the Lord called him in a dramatic vision of showing him of a cabbage growing in the desert of Northern Kenya, which symbolizes the unreached and persecuted, and that’s how Lifeway Mission Intl began, (God growing cabbage in the desert)

In Obedience to God’s calling on his life, Dr. Tasse started his engagement in Mission to unreached and persecuted believers since August 1989. In December 1995 he official Founded Lifeway Mission Intl and remained its only missionary until 1998, and in 1998 LWMI was officially recognized and registered by Kenyan Government. Today Lifeway Mission Intl serves in over ten countries of Eastern and Horn of Africa as well partnering with global ministries to fulfill the Great Commission in reaching the unreached, making disciples through Church planting and serving persecuted believers. Dr.Tasse globally trains missionaries and believers on Disciple Making Movements (CPM), Cross-cultural mission approaches, Incarnational Socio-Economic, Leadership developments and Moslem Evangelism.

Dr. Tasse has worked for Open Doors Intl as Director for Ethiopia, Cityteam International (Director East Africa) and National Chairman for Evangelical Christian Churches of Africa (ECCA).

Education Background:

Dr. Tasse have studied and graduated from many Colleges, seminaries and University, He has Diploma in Bible and Theology (Nairobi P.B College 1995), B.A in Christian Education (Caribbean College and Sem. 1996), M.A in Missiology (Presbyterian College/ Seminary, Seoul–Korea, 2002), M.Th in Missiology and Missional Leadership (Antioch College and Seminary – Korea, 2004), Doctor of Transformational Leadership  (Bakke Graduate University, Seattle WA- USA, 2009)
